So, I wanted to see the difference in colors between my point and shoot and my new Nikon. Since baby is sleeping - and getting her to do the same thing while I change cameras is impossible - I threw a pillow onto the rug and took some pictures. I left them both on the manual setting, so this is pretty basic, but the Nikon shows truer color.
Not a huge difference, but something fun to compare and play with. In case you can't figure it out, the first photo is taken with the Nikon and the second is with my point and shoot.
A side note, I am in awe of how fast this takes pictures.

Wow...I see a huge difference! But now I'm going to have to stop reading yours AND M3's blogs because you are making me want to go spend $$ that I don't have on a new camera!!
